What identification documents are permitted?

• Why did my verification fail?
  In order to enable a smooth verification, please note the following points:
  – What is not possible is the pure residence permit, but the „main page“ of the passport must be visible
  – Make sure that the images are easy to read, not blurred and not too reflective
  – Check that the data you enter on merkurmasters.de matches the data in your identity document. This means that you enter exactly the same first name, surname and date of birth as on your ID document.
  – If you carry out the verification via your smartphone please note that access to the camera is granted and that the rotation lock
